Restoring the Heart & Mind

For individuals, small groups and families.

Taking time to rest and replenish ourselves outside of the roles and commitments that govern our day to day lives is paramount towards supporting whole-health and wellbeing. Making the time and creating space to slow down, reflect, and attend to one self and what is present, or hidden, is a fundamental right we all have and yet sometimes still need to be reminded to do.

Nature as an ally can be a useful mirror for this, and shows us that everything takes its own time and arrives at exactly the right moment, if we would only slow down enough to notice.

This is a bespoke offering for those seeking to momentarily step outside of their usual day to day activities and make time for something creative, something that invites you back into your own space.

This offering is open to co-creation with what is present at this moment in time for you.

Fire-Making and Tending - Fire is an element that has dramatically changed and shaped the world we now live in. Tending one’s own fire and learning fire skills can be greatly empowering and fun.

Cooking and Foraging - Eating food is deeply nourishing and people tell me it tastes better outdoors! Finding locals foods, being cooked for, sharing and preparing foods together.

Natural Crafts - Weaving fibres, creating woven pieces can be satisfying and relaxing due to its requirement for mindful concentration. Opportunities to learn basic weaving methods and experiment with natural fibres.

Wood crafts - Exploring different woods/tree species and designing a simple craft.

Nature Art - Creating art from resources found within the natural environment can be wonderfully freeing and interesting as each month there are new resources and items to be found. This is a lovely way to connect to the local area and explore the spontaneous creative urges that can arise within us just waiting to be birthed.

Specialised crafts -  Utilising Skins and Bones.

Balm making - Therapeutic balms from natures medicine, found at different times of the year.
